When and how much should I water my plant?

It is always difficult to give a precise answer to this question (which you ask us frequently!).
There are in fact many factors to calculate, such as where you place your plant, whether it is exposed to the sun or not; you must then evaluate the humidity of the house, the ventilation of the room, etc.

It is to avoid having to deal with these calculations that we have created a self-watering vase, which guarantees 24-hour humidity for your plant, making it completely autonomous.

Composing Plan B is very easy

1 - Pot your plant, leaving the expanded clay that you find in the package at the bottom of the pot

2 - Pour the water the amount of water always depends on the type of plant you insert.

For example, if you pot a semi-succulent plant (e.g. tradescantia), only the tip of the cone should be immersed in water (no more than 1 cm).

If you instead insert an undergrowth plant (e.g. fittonia), the water level must be higher but never exceed half of the bowl.

We also remind you that plants drink more during spring and summer, so you will have to top up the water as soon as it starts to decrease.

During the winter, however, a period of rest, you will have to wait for the water to run out before filling the bowl.

3 - That's it : you have created your self-watering system. You will only have to check the water level every now and then and enjoy your plant!
